Our French stunner has built some of the biggest Warehouses in the UK. Emmanuel connects our French influence to the name “Allumer”, which means “to light up” in French.
A passion for quality and accuracy is what keeps Jon head of production! With a love for Adidas trainers, his only hope is that his wife doesn’t sell his collection for what he told her he bought them for!

Allumer began as a vision to rethink Lighting Solutions with a focus on control, quality and flexibility for both the company and its clients. And with a portfolio of knowledge and understanding in the industry, we realised it all came down to one thing: your end experience.

But how did we end up here?
In 1994, at the age of eighteen, Jon, our founder and then a young entrepreneur, emigrated to Australia and opened his own business, a juice bar and ice cream shop.
But, with a family history in Electricals and Lighting, Jon found himself inspired to learn more about the industry and so, in a bid to continue the Family expertise in Lighting, sold his Juice Bar and Ice Cream Shop and joined a worldwide lighting company as an engineer.
After moving back to the UK in 2004, Jon joined a Lighting Manufacturer, and after over twenty years, he became their UK Sales Director.
Now, fully qualified in lighting design and UK Sales Director, Jon wanted to get hands-on with the manufacturing process.
With experience and expertise in sales, the manufacturing process and product design, Jon found a niche in servicing Logistics and related areas of distribution and production facilities.
And it was around this time that Allumer was born.
